Hannah & Sam
Hannah & Sam decided to tie the knot at the extremely quirky Coppermines in Coniston. Now if you have not heard of it or been there then I recommend you have a walk up there. It truly is very Lake District, rugged, atmospheric and moody and lies at the bottom of Old Man of Coniston. Not only does it make a great rustic wedding location but it's also a YHA so you can stay there and have a 500ft head start for the ascent of the Old Man.
Hannah got ready in a self catering cottage in the village and we went up to the mines for the ceremony and reception. Both of these guys were super chilled out and I did my usual thing of floating around documenting what I see. Hannah casually did the bouquets in between hair and makeup. The results are truly beautiful, real and reflex the hard work and effort they put into the day.
The day was filled with laughter from beginning to end. Sam's best man with indeed his sister. Not only that but she was the ring bearer... that forgot to bring the rings from upstairs ... luckily they were only upstairs.
The guests were full of fun, relaxed and created fabulous reportage moments for me to capture.
